“YUMMILICIOUS" PIZZA-DILLA

This is a favourite among the little ones – if you mention pizza, their eyes will usually light up. Make preparing the meal interactive by allowing your little one to make their own Pizza-Dilla! Serving Makes about 4 pizza-dillas. Serving size = 1 pizza-dilla per adult and ½ pizza-dilla per child.

Ingredients

  • 8 whole wheat 8” tortilla shells
  • ¾ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup chicken
  • ½ cup of chopped mushrooms
  • ¼ cup Pizza sauce

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Take tortilla shell and spread a little pizza sauce on the bottom.  Sprinkle shredded cheese, chicken morsels and vegetables on the tortilla. Top with second tortilla shell and place on cookie sheet. Place in oven for 10-15 minutes, or until tortilla is brown – make sure to flip half way through baking. Let it cool, cut into quarters and serve.

For an even healthier option, substitute the mozzarella for Cheddar cheese and add some broccoli.
